Second Sister's Story

I experienced firsthand the complexity of caring for an aging parent when my husband became his father’s care manager in addition to our raising two daughters, juggling careers and handling our own day-to-day. It was a lot.

We’re not unique. In my nearly 16 years working at John Muir Health, I met many families seeking resources to help care for a loved one who needed a new level of assistance when they returned home, or in some cases, a new place to live that provided 24-hour care.

I founded Second Sister to be the resource I wish we’d had — the one so many families need. I can walk beside you, guide you with compassion and clarity and help ease your mind.
